Ready to rethink your ideas on dessert? Our guest today, Julia Panchkowry, is here to remind you of the importance of enjoying life, loving your body, and laughing your way through the stumbling path of entrepreneurship.
Julia is the founder and CEO of The Banana Warrior, a vegan health food brand that specializes in plant based desserts, mainly banana bread! The Banana Warrior began three years ago and is based in Bangkok, Thailand, with plans to expand.
Julia has always been deeply passionate about food and cooking. As she became more interested in health, her creations in the kitchen followed. Julia recognizes body image as being one of the fundamental influencers of our eating habits, our relationships and our enjoyment of life and thinks that, ‘health’ is almost impossible without a positive body image.
In this episode, we chat about:
- Not holding yourself back with set visions and goals
- How to release food guilt (and enjoy some banana bread)
- Letting go on a standard idea of beauty
- Bettering your relationship with yourself through self talk
